The Cookie Book Tag

I have to thank to Diary of a Bookfiend for tagging me for The Cookie Book Tag! I’m really happy to do it, and I’m sorry it took me so long, I’ve been camping for a while and I had no computer or internet.

  • In addition to linking back to the person who tagged you, it would be awesome if you link back to Nicole’s original post!
  • Pick a book that corresponds to the cookie’s ‘theme’.
  • Have fun!

Chocolate Chip: A Classic book that you love?612cky2cafl1

As you know, if you have been to my blog before, I love classics and it is really difficult for me to pick one. As a result, I’ll choose the last one I read and loved, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Scott Fitzgerald’s writing is just priceless, I couldn’t put it down. The book criticizes the absence of morality of the rich and self-centred individuals who live of the work of the poor.

77493_originalThin Mints: A Hyped-Up Book You Want To Read?

I have to go with A Court of Thorns and by Sarah J. Maas. I’m not much of a fantasy reader, but this book sounds so good that I always look for it at bookshops, most of the time they only have the last book in the series, which kills me inside.

Shortbread: An Author You Can’t Get Enough Of?

Obviously, it is Richard Zimler, I can’t even explain the love I feel for his books. I always adore them. The way he writes and the topics he chooses to mention, everything is just on point.

Samoas: An Emotional Rollercoaster of Book.blindness

For this one I choose Blindness by José Saramago, this book made me feel so many different things. This book is about a town that is hit by an epidemic of “white blindness” that spares no one.

51y6wcdar4l-_sx318_bo1204203200_Oreos: A Book Whose Cover Was Better Than Its Inside

I’ll choose A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness, just because I find the cover to be more intriguing than the story itself.

Tagalongs: A Book That Wasn’t What I Expected

I honestly don’t know. Sorry.

Snickerdoodles: A Book I May Never Stop Rereading/ Loving

Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, I read it every year since I first learned how to read. It is perfect to clear my mind.

I tag…
